Meet Arthur

Arthur Dixon at a rally

I’m Arthur Dixon, a 28-year-old Community Organizer and Democratic Socialist who knows the pain of poverty firsthand. Raised by a single mom, I’ve slept on the street, gone hungry, and fought to survive—experiences that broke my heart but built my resolve. Now, I’m running for Congress in CA-34 to fight for justice, ensuring no one is left behind. I’ll deliver a Universal Basic Income to end poverty, a Green New Deal for jobs, a beautiful city, and a livable planet, and Guaranteed Housing to keep families secure—because dignity and opportunity are rights for all.

Our Platform

Universal Basic Income

$1,000 monthly for every adult—no strings attached. Groceries without worry, rent on time, and freedom to chase dreams, not just survive.

Green New Deal

Union jobs in clean energy, transit, and housing—fighting climate change while securing clean air, safe streets, and prosperity for CA-34, with a focus on marginalized communities.

Housing as a Right

Secure homes with capped rents, tenant protections, and relief to end homelessness—no one should lose their home to corporate greed.

Healthcare for All

Free, universal healthcare—never again choosing between your kid’s medicine and rent. Health is a right, not a luxury, for CA-34.

Education for All

Free K-12 to college—fully funded schools, resources for kids, debt-free community college, and culturally responsive education so all CA-34 students thrive.

Justice and Dignity for All

End mass incarceration, abolish ICE, and implement community-led safety programs to rebuild trust. Protect immigrants with citizenship paths—CA-34 is a sanctuary for all.

Mental Health Access

Free mental health care—counseling, crisis support, targeted outreach for veterans, LGBTQ+ residents, and others hit hardest, because no one should struggle alone.

Economic Mobility

Job training, small business support, a $22 minimum wage, and access to capital for Black and Brown entrepreneurs to lift CA-34 families out of poverty.
